Meet the Team

At Blessed Oasis, we take pride in the amazing group of people that make up our team.  The treatment that our guests receive while with us is second to none and a direct result of the skill, care and compassion of the individuals listed below.  It is a pleasure to introduce them to you!

Shea

Shift Leader

Shea is a kind hearted, soft spoken, much appreciated member of our team. Shea’s four legged babies are Maddie and Bear. She is currently studying Criminal Justice in hopes to direct it towards animals who can’t speak for themselves. She loves giving extra care to the guests who might need a little reassurance during their stay and letting the human members of the family that their baby will be well taken care of. She may be meek as a lamb but if she hears an animal has been abused she turns into a lion!

Kathy

Bather

Kathy is articulate, intelligent and driven. She is deeply involved in animal rescue, specifically young puppies and Old English Sheepdogs. Her experience and knowledge of all things canine, her prior vet tech experience along with her sweet disposition and love for the animals are a powerful combination that make her a very influential member of our team.

Alexis

Alexis’s love for dogs never goes unnoticed by the clients. She knows how to care and nurture the dogs (and the few special guests we get from time to time) to ensure that that everyone is well taken care of. She is an incredible asset to our team. Alexis plans on serving our country in the United States Air Force. She has two cats named Johnny & Scratch and a dog named Laya who she loves very much!

Annie

Annie is new to the animal industry, but has found a strong passion within herself and she couldn’t be happier! Annie is very hard working and loves learning new things. She is currently studying at FTCC for Computer Graphics and Animation. When she’s not at school, she is here helping our four legged clients during every step of their stay. Annie is always eager to help, and will put on any “hat” that is thrown her way. Her incredible work ethic and flexibility makes her a great asset to the team

Kaitlin

Guest Services

Katie is a go getter, and loves to keep herself busy. Whether it be by snuggling or playing with our guests, or keeping the facility clean and safe for them, she does not stop moving. Katie is also extremely involved in animal rescue, focusing primarily on the Boxer breed. She even has two of her own at home; Eli & Abby. Katie knows the ins and outs of all dog breeds and is a welcomed addition to our team

Carrie

Guest Services

Carrie’s heart is full of tenderness, kindness and warmth. She loves dogs of all sizes, but her true passion is cats. She has rescued and adopted many cats and dogs through out the years. She previously worked at a cat rescue facility that had many heart breaking diseases but that did not stop her! Carrie has also assisted in dog training. She currently has four kitties at home; Oscar, Cheetah, Jack & Sky.

Lindsey

Shift Leader

Lindsey came to us from Delaware where she worked as a veterinary technician for over ten years. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in animal science and biology and is also a certified canine massage therapist. Lindsey is active in dog sports such as rally obedience and agility. You might catch her in our dog park as she often brings her dogs Gabe, Linc, and Colbie to practice their skills. You could definitely describe her as dog crazy. She possesses an attention to detail that extends to all aspects of our guests’ care, from baking them treats at home to patching up their beloved beds and toys. Lindsey has an incredible affinity and love for all dogs and we are so blessed that she decided to join our team.
