At Blessed Oasis, we take pride in the amazing group of people that make up our team. The treatment that our guests receive while with us is second to none and a direct result of the skill, care and compassion of the individuals listed below. It is a pleasure to introduce them to you!
Chelsey is the heart of our team. She keeps everything running smoothly and all of us at our best! She is our most seasoned team member and knows the ins and outs of Blessed Oasis like the back of her hand. She is the dog mom of Sunny and Shadow, 2 large, lovable lab mixes. Her contagious smile, dry whit, and love of the animals make her an invaluable member of the team.
Shea is a kind hearted, soft spoken, much appreciated member of our team. Shea’s four legged babies are Maddie and Bear. She is currently studying Criminal Justice in hopes to direct it towards animals who can’t speak for themselves. She loves giving extra care to the guests who might need a little reassurance during their stay and letting the human members of the family that their baby will be well taken care of. She may be meek as a lamb but if she hears an animal has been abused she turns into a lion!
Racheal is the baby of our team. Even though she is the youngest team member that doesn’t stop her from conquering any obstacle that is thrown her way. Her love for dogs doesn’t stop at Blessed Oasis but continues when she goes home. Racheal has three dogs of her own; Bella, Hercules and Pickett. With her prior experience at other boarding facilities we are glad she chose to join our crew. As the “baby” of the team, nothing makes her happier than to make our clients’ babies feel special!
Adam is our resident dog trainer. He knows the in's and out's of dog behavior and makes sure to train up all new staff members. When he is not hard at work you can catch him sneaking off to snuggle with the furry guests. Adam joined our team along with his wife Kasey and he has had an excellent impact on keeping the caliber of care as high as it is.
Kasey came to us with 5 years experience in the animal industry. Her knowledge, experience, and passion for any animal, big or small, paired with her diligence and organizational skills makes her a valued member of our team. Kasey’s own pack consists of her two-legged son, Ryder and his six dogs (yes-this was a coincidence, even though his favorite show is Paw Patrol). From a Husky to a Chihuahua, 4 cats and 7 chickens, she loves them all. Her pack also includes her husband Adam, who works here as well as our Dog Trainer/Guest Service Attendant. Between their knowledge and love for animals, they make a pretty great team, if we do say so our-self!
Kathy is the newest member of our team. She is deeply involved in animal rescue, specifically young puppies and Old English Sheepdogs. Her experience and knowledge of all things k-9 coupled with her sweet disposition and love for the animals are a welcome addition to Blessed Oasis.
Alexis’s love for dogs never goes unnoticed by the clients. She knows how to care and nurture the dogs (and the few special guests we get from time to time) to ensure that that everyone is well taken care of. She is an incredible asset to our team. Alexis plans on serving our country in the United States Air Force. She has two cats named Johnny & Scratch and a dog named Laya who she loves very much!
Annie is new to the animal industry, but has found a strong passion within herself and she couldn’t be happier! Annie is very hard working and loves learning new things. She is currently studying at FTCC for Computer Graphics and Animation. When she’s not at school, she is here helping our four legged clients during every step of their stay. Annie is always eager to help, and will put on any “hat” that is thrown her way. Her incredible work ethic and flexibility makes her a great asset to the team
Katie is a go getter, and loves to keep herself busy. Whether it be by snuggling or playing with our guests, or keeping the facility clean and safe for them, she does not stop moving. Katie is also extremely involved in animal rescue, focusing primarily on the Boxer breed. She even has two of her own at home; Eli & Abby. Katie knows the ins and outs of all dog breeds and is a welcomed addition to our team
Carrie’s heart is full of tenderness, kindness and warmth. She loves dogs of all sizes, but her true passion is cats. She has rescued and adopted many cats and dogs through out the years. She previously worked at a cat rescue facility that had many heart breaking diseases but that did not stop her! Carrie has also assisted in dog training. She currently has four kitties at home; Oscar, Cheetah, Jack & Sky.
Lindsey came to us from Delaware where she worked as a veterinary technician for over ten years. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in animal science and biology and is also a certified canine massage therapist. Lindsey is active in dog sports such as rally obedience and agility. You might catch her in our dog park as she often brings her dogs Gabe, Linc, and Colbie to practice their skills. You could definitely describe her as dog crazy. She possessed an attention to detail that extends to all aspects of our guests’ care, from baking them treats at home to patching up their well-loved beds and toys. Lindsey has an incredible infinity and love for all dogs and we are so blessed that she decided to join our team.
