Blessed Oasis is hosting its first annual Howl-O-Ween pet costume contest. The event will be hosted in our 5 acre fenced in dog park. Come on out and enjoy the following:
– Pet Costume Contest: 1st place receives a halloween themed trophy and a $100 Blessed Oasis gift certificate. 2nd place receives a halloween themed medallion and a $50 Blessed Oasis gift certificate.
– Dog Musical Squares: Just like musical chairs, you must get your leashed dog on a felt square when the music stops. The last pet standing wins a $20 Blessed Oasis gift certificate.
– Dog Training Demonstration: Our resident dog trainer Joel will be demonstrating basic training techniques and tips and tricks. He will also open the floor for any owner who would like to show off their pets special tricks or skills.
– Professional Photographer: A highly talented photographer will be offering her services for those who would like a professional photo taken of their pet in costume. All of the $5 sitting fee proceeds will be donated to an amazing local rescue, Operation Dog Tag.
– Doggy Treat Bags: We will also be handing out halloween themed doggy treat bags to our visitors. Treat bags are limited so its first come first serve.
– Operation Dog Tag: An awesome local pet rescue will also be visiting with us for the event. They will be providing information on fostering, adopting, transporting and volunteering to minimize the number of pets who are unnecessarily euthanized every year.
